Abandoned Catskills Hotels

In its heyday, the Catskills were a affordable draw mainly for Jewish people seeking to escape New York City. However over time, the clientele diversified and, mainstream America soaked up Jewish culture, its artists, its comedians and it's food.
The area's nicknames were the Borscht Belt and the Jewish Alps.
Today many of the hotels that flourished years ago are either abandoned, bought up by developers or individual investors.
These areas would be ideal for metal detecting provided you can get permission from the land owner.
