The officers and members of this organization have taken much pride in developing an excellent reputation in both the metal detecting and historical communities. We have worked on historical sites with recognition from local, county, state, and national officials as well as helping develop legislation to control the use of and still protect those sites. Therefore, we look for individuals who have an interest in the hobby, but still will also help maintain the reputation and integrity of this club. This means observing the following rules.
- Follow good metal detecting practices.
- Keep sites neat and never leave open holes.
- Pick up your trash and dispose of it properly.
- Obtain the necessary permission to hunt a site.
- Obey and respect all laws pertaining to historical sites.
- Actively participate in club functions.
