App That Calculates Coin Melt Values

A new free iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch app has been released by Coinflation.com (a division of Collectors Universe, Inc.). The app uses real-time metal prices to calculate the melt value of U.S. coins. This includes prices for all silver and base metal (copper, nickel, etc.) but not gold. The app is easy to use and the photos of the coins are spectacular. It also incorporates a calculator for scrap silver and gold that you may want to sell. Simple enter the total weight and fineness and the calculator will do the rest. Search for "Coinflation" in the App Store to read the reviews and get your copy.
