Some Long Island State Parks Allow Metal Detecting For a Fee

The Long Island region of the New York State Office of Parks & Historic Restoration seems to be one of the only region out of the eleven regions that make up the state park system that allows metal detecting for a fee, and a permit is required
(Note: that not all of the Long Island State parks allow metal detecting)
